1. Ice cream of green tea

The first of our low-calorie desserts that you can enjoy without feeling guilty is this delicious green ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Lemon peel (yellow only) (3 g)
  • 2 dl with water
  • The juice of 1 lemon (45 ml)
  • 4 plates with tasteless gelatin
  • 1 can with light cream cheese (200 g)
  • 2 dl with green tea that has already been brewed
  • 2 eggs – separate the egg yolks (120 g)

Cooking

  1. First, mix the tea with the gelatin plates (which you should soak in cold water before starting).
  2. Then add  the two dl of water, the lemon peel and the lemon juice.
  3. Whisk two egg yolks and add this to the previous mixture. Stir constantly.
  4. Then add the cream cheese and your favorite sweetener. Stir well.
  5. Whisk the egg whites in a clean bowl. Make sure the mixture is fluffy and mix it into the other mixture.
  6. Pour it all into a container and put it in the freezer until it starts to harden.
  7. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and stir well so that it does not crystallize. Put it back in the freezer.
  8. Repeat the previous two steps until you achieve the desired consistency, which should be creamy.

2. Coconut pudding

No list of homemade low-calorie desserts is complete without coconut pudding. This nutritious pudding can compliment all foods, at all times of the year. Coconut stands out for its high content of mineral salts, especially magnesium.

Ingredients

  • 1 pinch of salt.
  • 1 whole coconut (2.5 kg)
  • Peel 1/2 lemon (yellow only) (1.5 g)
  • 2 dl skim milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon with coconut rum (2.5 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch (15 g)
  • 1 dl coconut milk with low fat content
  • 1 dl skimmed condensed milk

Preparation

  1. First, open the coconut and save a dl of the coconut water.
  2. Then mix the water with the skim milk.
  3. In a saucepan, mix the cornstarch with the other mixture.
  4. Whisk it until you get a creamy consistency  without lumps.
  5. In another bowl, whisk the coconut milk with the lemon zest, condensed milk and a pinch of salt. Add this to the previous mixture.
  6. Put the pan on the stove and heat until it boils, while constantly whisking it  until the consistency is thick.
  7. Remove from the heat and add the coconut rum, stirring constantly.
  8. Prepare the portion forms by greasing them with butter and pouring the mixture into them.
  9. Let it cool down to room temperature  and then cool it in the refrigerator until it has a firm consistency.
  10. Take the pudding out of the tins and place it on a plate. Decorate to taste.

3. Fruit skewers, the best of our low-calorie homemade desserts

Fruit with chocolate

This is another low-calorie homemade dessert that provides  a generous amount of vitamin C due to the strawberries and kiwi.

Ingredients

  • 1 kiwi (10 g)
  • 1 bulb (30 g)
  • strawberries (10 g)
  • 1 banana or plantain (120 g)
  • Mint leaves for decoration

Cooking

  1. Wash the strawberries well and remove the stem.  Wipe them with kitchen paper.
  2. Then peel the rest of the fruit.
  3. Cut the fruit, except the strawberries, into small pieces and spread them on wooden skewers.
  4. Put the skewers on the grill for a moment and  serve immediately.
  5. Decorate with mint leaves.
  6. If you want, you can pour a little frothy yogurt on the skewers.

4. Tofu pudding

Tofu pudding

Tofu pudding is a low-calorie homemade dessert, but it also adds a lot of nutrients. Tofu adds protein and iron and is free of cholesterol.

Ingredients

  • 120 g with tofu.
  • 4 eggs (240 g)
  • 2 large strawberries (5 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (5 g)
  • 1 tablespoon with vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of sweetener (5 g)
  • 2 dl soy milk
  • 2 dl with skim milk

Cooking

  1. Mix the eggs with skim milk, soy milk, tofu and sweetener in a blender until it is a smooth mass.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  3. Pour into molds as desired, boil them in a water bath and let them sit for ten minutes.
  4. Take the pudding out of the molds and when it cools, put it in the fridge.
  5. Serve with a few slices of strawberry.
